White House
- White House tours are requested through our office but allotted and confirmed by the White House Visitors Office. We recommend requesting your tour 3 months in advance to give your group the best chance of receiving a White House tour.
U.S. Capitol Building
- Our office offers staff-led tours Monday through Friday (except on holidays). Professional "Red Coat" tours are available on Saturdays.
African American History Museum
- The National Museum of African American History and Culture is open daily to the public Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m, and on Monday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Free timed-entry passes are required for entry and can be reserved at https://nmaahc.si.edu/visit/plan-your-visit.
National Cathedral
- The National Cathedral offers a variety of tours. Plan your trip at https://cathedral.org/visit-tour/plan-your-visit/.
Supreme Court
- On days when the Court is not in session, the building will be open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., excluding weekends and federal holidays. Courtroom lectures are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please refer to the 30-day rolling calendar for available lectures. Visitors may view ground floor exhibits and portions of the first floor on a self-guided basis. The cafeteria and gift shop are open to the public.
Library of Congress
- The Jefferson building is open Monday-Saturday 8:30 a.m. -4:30 p.m. to view the public exhibits. There are no guided tours. Free timed-entry passes (Link to timed-entry passes: https://loc.usedirect.com/LOC/) are required for entry. Groups of 20 or more people should request timed entry passes here (https://loc.gov/visit/large-group-reservations/).
FBI Building
- Names, dates of birth, Social Security Numbers, countries of birth, citizenship, green card number (if applicable), and passport (if applicable) are required for each guest. Tours can be requested up to 5 months in advance, and no later than 4 weeks prior to the tour date.
State Department
- Tours are scheduled on a first come, first served basis and a limited number of spaces are available; therefore, you are encouraged to submit your request as early as possible. Tours are typically hosted Monday - Friday 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 2:45 p.m. (excluding federal holidays and unless otherwise noted). If your tour is confirmed, you will arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the tour. As these are official entertaining spaces, all tours may be subject to change or cancellation. Kennedy Center
- The current hours of public access are Monday-Sunday, 10 a.m. to midnight.
National Archives
- Visitors do not need a reservation to visit the Archives, but the line can be really long during tourist season, so it’s recommended to make a timed visit entry. The timed visit entries are available from 10:30a.m. -4:00 p.m. and we recommend going to recreation.gov to reserve a timed visit entry. It only costs $1 and guaranteed entry, if you have questions about that you can call 877-444-6777.
Museum of the Bible
